A resin replacement barrel with a rendered protective canvas for the German self-propelled gun nicknamed the Dicker Max, in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It is not a vehicle kit but a detail accessory, which replaces the plastic barrel and adds a realistic fabric cover.
Dicker Max was the nickname of a German heavy self-propelled gun on the Panzer IV chassis, armed with a large-caliber gun and meant for destroying fortifications and heavy targets. It was built in small numbers only and deployed on the Eastern Front. The canvas cover protected the mounting of the barrel from dirt and weather.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut off the casting block and clean the mating surface up. Bond with super glue, and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Pick the fabric canvas out with a dark wash into the folds and a dry brush on the edges.
The accessory does not contain the model itself, nor glue or paints. It is meant for completing an existing kit.
