This resin accessory in 1:35 scale is not a model in its own right but a set of replacement wheels with tires of the period AVON pattern for the British Bedford QLC truck. The castings offer sharper detail on the tread and the rims than ordinary plastic parts and they usually hold slightly weighted tires for a realistic settling on the ground.
The Bedford QL was a range of British three-ton trucks with all-wheel drive, widely committed during the Second World War. The QLC version served among other things as a tanker and as a carrier. Well-made tires contribute markedly to the realism of a model of a wheeled vehicle.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding. Set the rubber of the tires apart in matte black to gray and lay dust and mud onto the tread with pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
