Plastic figure set British and German soldiers, Battle of the Somme 1916 from Master Box in 1:35 scale - six figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic figure set from the First World War line captures a scene from the Battle of the Somme in 1916. It contains six figures: a group of captured German soldiers carrying a wounded comrade away, and two British soldiers in the role of escort. The set is meant to be glued and painted and forms a strongly narrative basis for a diorama.
The Battle of the Somme ran from July to November 1916 on both banks of the river Somme in France. British and French forces clashed there with the German army. It ranks among the bloodiest battles in history - more than a million soldiers on all sides were wounded or killed there. The set recalls the human dimension of this fighting.
Cut the figures out, clean up the joints and glue them with cement for plastic. Distinguish the shades of the khaki uniforms of the British soldiers from the gray-green uniforms of the German prisoners. Pick out the muddy boots and the lower parts of the clothing with pigments and shade the faces in layers. Unify the scene with a matte clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
