This resin accessory depicts the American Browning .50 inch caliber heavy machine gun (M2) with a canvas cover pulled over the weapon. It is not a vehicle kit but a stand-alone detail with which you can liven up a 1:35 model. Covered machine guns were common on vehicles outside combat use, and on a model they look very authentic.
A machine gun with a cover suits the mounts and brackets of Allied and modern vehicles, tank turrets, carriers and dioramas. The casting captures the characteristic folds of the canvas and the shape of the weapon, so it replaces the coarser part from the base kit.
First wash the mold release residue off the part, carefully cut the casting block away and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The canvas stands out once it has been painted and given a fine wash that emphasizes the folds.
A resin accessory, supplied unassembled and unpainted. It does not make up a model on its own, and glue and paints are not included in the package.
