BT-7 metal track links is a set of workable metal track links in 1:35 scale from Friulmodel. It is not a tank model but an accurate replacement of the tracks for the Soviet BT-7 fast tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of individual white metal (tin alloy) track links for a model of the Soviet BT-7 fast tank in 1:35 scale. The links are joined with the supplied wire into a fully workable run that replaces the plastic or rubber tracks from the base kit. Metal tracks give the model a real weight, sharp definition and a natural sag.
The BT-7 was a Soviet fast tank of the 1930s with a Christie suspension that allowed it to run on wheels as well as on tracks. It was notable for its high mobility and was used in prewar conflicts and in the opening phase of the Second World War.
First clean the casting marks off the links with a file, lay them out one behind another and connect them with the supplied wire, which forms the pins. A file, cutters for trimming the wire and a pin vise with a drill the diameter of the wire are enough for assembly. Treat the metal surface with a primer suitable for metal before painting, then apply the colors with an airbrush and bring the tracks out with a wash and pigments for mud and dust effects.
It is not a tank model but a metal accessory for an existing kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
