A set of seven figures of construction workers in 1:35 scale. They are not soldiers: these are civilian figures in work clothing, which suit scenes of building, repair or demolition. They are supplied unassembled and unpainted and are intended to fill out a scene of your own.
A diorama with nothing but soldiers in it shows only one side of things. Workers at a half-built house, at a road repair or clearing rubble give a scene both a story and a sense of scale. They serve just as well for modern civilian subjects, where equipment is set into a building site, and for postwar scenes of reconstruction.
Wash the figures in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry, or the paint will not hold on the surface. Cut the remnants left from production away with a fresh blade and level the area off, and protect your breathing while sanding. Work clothing looks more convincing in muted shades with a few saturated accents, such as a high-visibility vest or a helmet. Dust and stains on the knees and the sleeves lend the figures credibility, because nobody on a building site has clean work clothes.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted, and the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
