This resin detail set from PANZER ART contains the road wheels of the M4 Sherman tank in its late version, with the rubber rendered as burned away and deformed. The set serves for rendering destroyed or burnt-out vehicles; it is not a kit of the whole vehicle but an accessory for a diorama or a base model.
The M4 Sherman was the most widespread American medium tank of the Second World War. The late version differed in details of the running gear and the wheels. After a hit, a fire or a longer spell as an abandoned wreck, the rubber tire bands of the wheels burned away and deformed, and the castings capture that state faithfully.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut off the casting blocks. Bond the resin with super glue. You will pick the burnt look out with dark washes and pigments (soot, rust); they come out best on a diorama with a destroyed vehicle.
