Resin road wheels from PANZER ART, 1:35, with a burnt-out rubber tire band for the Pz.II and the Marder II serve for rendering destroyed or burnt-out vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin road wheels in 1:35 scale from the PANZER ART brand, on which the rubber tire band is rendered as burnt and peeling away. The wheels are meant for the Pz.Kpfw. II light tank and the Marder II tank destroyer built on its chassis. It is not a vehicle kit but a set of replacement wheels for the effect of a damaged vehicle.
The Pz.Kpfw. II was a light tank of the early Second World War; its chassis also served for the Marder II self-propelled gun. The road wheels had a rubber tire band on a metal disc. When a vehicle was hit and burned, the rubber charred and fell away, which is what marks out the burnt-out look of the wheels. Such a detail is used on destroyed wrecks in dioramas.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For a faithful impression of charred rubber, flat blackish-brown shades, rust on the bared discs and fine pigments (soot, ash) suit well. Do the sanding with respiratory protection.
This is a resin set of replacement wheels, not a model of the vehicle. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
