This set captures burned and distorted road wheels for models of the Soviet tank T-72 in 1:35 scale. It is not a tank kit but a resin accessory intended for building destroyed or burned-out vehicles. On some of the wheels the rubber tire bands are cracked or gone entirely, exposing the bare metal disc.
The T-72 is a widespread Soviet main battle tank that is often modeled in a battle-damaged or wrecked condition. Damaged wheels raise the drama of a diorama with a knocked-out vehicle, where fire melted the rubber and the wheels buckled. The castings save the work of reshaping production parts by hand.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and true the seating surfaces. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. For a scorched effect, pigments, soot and shades of rusted metal work well.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without the base kit, glue and paints.
