An accessory for a model of the F-16C Block 50/52 fighter aircraft in 1:32 scale, intended for the kit of the Tamiya brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The General Dynamics F-16 is a single-engine multirole fighter aircraft with a turbofan engine, a bubble canopy without a forward frame and a fly-by-wire control system. The pilot sits in a strongly reclined seat and controls the machine with a side stick instead of a classic column. The Block 50 and Block 52 versions came about at the start of the 1990s and differ above all in the supplier of the powerplant; both received a more powerful engine and extended equipment compared with the older batches. It is precisely these versions that make up the backbone of many users' air forces to this day.
The item is worked out for 1:32 scale and is tied to the F-16 kit from the Tamiya brand. On another kit of the same aircraft the shapes and the dimensions therefore need not fit. Exactly what the package holds and how the contents are worked with is described by the manufacturer's instructions; proceed according to them.
First compare the contents of the package with the parts of the kit dry, without glue, so that you know where each element is fitted and what has to be removed from the kit. Wash and degrease the surfaces before fitting, as neither glue nor paint holds on a greasy surface. Work with tweezers with fine points and over a light surface with a rim, as a small element is otherwise looked for in vain. Fit the accessory at the stage of the build when the place is still accessible, not after the fuselage has been closed up.
The subject of sale is this item. The kit, the paints and the glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
