This is not an airplane model but a resin detail set for models of the Douglas B-26K Counter Invader attack aircraft in 1:72 scale. The set brings correctly shaped engine cowlings together with precisely cast radial engines, which corrects and refines the powerplant of the model.
The Douglas B-26K Counter Invader was a rebuilt and modernized version of the older A-26 Invader attack aircraft, committed above all to counter-insurgency and strike tasks during the Vietnam War. It was marked out by more powerful engines, a strengthened structure and heavy armament.
Wash the parts free of the remains of the mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Do the sanding with respiratory protection. The engines and the cowlings come out well after spraying with an airbrush, dry edge highlighting and a light wash.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, the glue, the paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
