This resin set holds a canvas cover for the German Sd.Kfz 250 light half-track in the later simplified Neu version, that is the new one. It is a detail accessory with faithfully cast folds in the canvas fabric that gives a model a realistic look, not a kit of the whole vehicle.
The Sd.Kfz 250 was a German light armored half-track of the Second World War. The later Neu version had a simplified hull that was less demanding to build. The canvas protected the crew and the load from the weather; its soft folds can be rendered far more realistically in resin than in rigid plastic.
Wash the part free of release agent, separate it from the casting block and glue it on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bring the canvas out by lightening the edges with a dry brush and with filters to stress the texture of the fabric; suggest the settled dust with pigments.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
