PANZER ART barrel cover for the Sturer Emil 1:35 is a resin accessory for the covered barrel of the heavy tank destroyer. This is a detail addition to the base kit, not a vehicle model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory represents a canvas cover thrown over the gun barrel of the German Sturer Emil heavy tank destroyer in 1:35 scale. The set is intended for more advanced modelers and gives a model the realistic field look that the plastic from the box does not capture.
Sturer Emil was a German experimental heavy tank destroyer of the Second World War armed with a powerful 12.8 cm gun on a lengthened chassis. Only a few were built, and they were deployed on the Eastern Front. Canvas barrel covers protected the muzzle and the mechanism against dust, rain and frost.
Wash the mold release agent off the part and cut off the casting block. Bond the cover with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fabric folds and the ropes come out well once painted with an airbrush and brought up with a wash and dry pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
