Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British cruiser tank Cromwell Mk.IV in 1:35 scale from Airfix. It is a modern mold with finely engraved detail on both the hull and the turret. The kit is broken down enough for a full build with weathering, while remaining accessible even to modelers who are only starting with tanks in this scale.
The Cromwell was among the fastest Allied tanks of the Second World War. The Mk.IV version was the most numerously built variant, it was powered by the powerful Rolls-Royce Meteor engine, and in its rotating turret it carried a quick-firing 75 mm gun that could fire both armor-piercing and high-explosive shells. Cromwells went fully into action after the Normandy landings in June 1944, where they were used above all by the reconnaissance regiments of British and Allied armored divisions.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in sub-assemblies. Finish and paint the running gear, the wheels and the lower hull before you close the hull up; the detail is much harder to reach afterward. Apply a primer before painting and lay the paints on with an airbrush. Washes and pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear and the lower hull go well with British olive green.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
