It makes it possible to build the particular service form designated GE C1 GSI, which differs from the commonly offered versions in the arrangement of its body and equipment. The 1:35 scale is standard for models of ground vehicles, so the set will fit into a collection of modern Bundeswehr vehicles.
The ATF Dingo 2 is a German light armored vehicle built on a Unimog chassis. The abbreviation ATF stands for Allschutz-Transport-Fahrzeug, that is a vehicle with all-round protection for the crew. The key feature is the separate armored capsule with a V-shaped floor, which protects the crew from mines and improvised devices, and the remotely operated weapon station on the roof. The Bundeswehr deployed the Dingo 2 in Afghanistan, in Mali and in the Balkans, and it serves with other armies as well. The vehicle exists in several forms, which differ in the wheelbase of the chassis, the shape of the body and specialized equipment for reconnaissance, communications or command.
Modern German vehicles wear the three-color NATO camouflage or a uniform desert shade. Lay the base down smoothly and make the transitions between the camouflage fields soft. Lightening the middle of large areas and darkening the edges will give the model the depth that a photograph in scale needs. Leave the optics and the sensors glossy and the rest flat. Dust on the lower areas and wear on the steps are the most believable weathering on this type.
