This diorama base from the RT-Diorama brand in 1:35 scale represents a watermill and serves as an elaborate base for building your own diorama. Note: it is not a vehicle model or a figure but a base with the mill building on it, on which you place your own models, equipment and figures. The set contains detailed cast parts (plaster or ceramic), precise 3D printed parts and laser-cut elements including a working water wheel and an articulated structure. The base measures approximately 30x30 cm.
The base is supplied unassembled and unpainted. First remove dust and any mold release from the cast parts, bond them with super glue or a suitable filler and paint the surface with acrylics, using washes and pigments for a convincing look of masonry, wood and water. Only then do you place your own equipment and figures on the base.
The base will be appreciated by diorama builders who want to set their models and figures in the striking surroundings of a watermill. It suits scenes from both World Wars and civilian rural settings alike.
