This resin set holds replacement wheels in the off-road Gelände form for the Ford 3000 truck. It is a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels of your model with more accurate castings, with a coarse off-road tread pattern on the tire, not a kit of the whole vehicle.
The Ford 3000 was a three-ton truck used during the Second World War. The off-road Gelände pattern of tires with their coarse tread improved going in difficult terrain. An accurately cast tread and the detail of the rim give a model the realistic look of a dusty working vehicle.
Wash the parts free of release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Undercoat the tires in dark gray rather than black, bring the tread out with dust and mud and match the rim to the color of the vehicle.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
