An injection-molded plastic kit of the French Panhard EBR wheeled reconnaissance vehicle in the EBR-11 variant in 1:35 scale. The set contains detailed plastic parts, a multi-slide-molded lower hull and turret, photo-etched metal parts, rubber tires and waterslide decals. The model is built with the classic technique of gluing plastic.
The Panhard EBR was a French armored car produced from the 1950s. It was notable for its characteristic eight-wheel chassis with a pair of raisable center wheels for cross-country travel and for its rotating turret. The vehicle served the French army in the reconnaissance role and was used in a number of postwar conflicts.
With a wheeled armored car, take care over the correct seating of the axles and the wheels, so that the vehicle stands level. Thin cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush are advisable. Degrease the rubber tires before painting. For period weathering, washes in the recesses and fine dust pigments work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
