The add-on set AFV Club German 8.8cm L/71 Tank Gun in 1:35 scale brings ammunition and accessories for models of the German 8.8 cm L/71 gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on detail set in 1:35 scale from AFV Club focused on the ammunition and accessories of the German 8.8 cm gun with the long L/71 barrel. It is not a standalone model of a vehicle and not the whole gun either, but an accessory that will enrich models of vehicles armed with this gun. The set holds rounds and transport containers for ammunition rendered in detail.
The German 8.8 cm gun with the long L/71 barrel was among the most effective anti-tank weapons of the Second World War. Its high muzzle velocity ensured exceptional penetrating effect at long range. Heavy anti-tank guns as well as tank destroyers were armed with this gun, and its ammunition with long cartridge cases is a characteristic detail of these subjects.
The set is meant for modelers who want to complete their 8.8 cm vehicle subjects with faithful rounds and containers. The rounds can be painted in metallic shades and weathered, and the ammunition containers will complement a diorama nicely. Separate the parts carefully and glue them with a suitable glue according to the material.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
