Responsibility details are not available.
This item from the brand PANZER ART brings a figure motif of a German paratrooper captured in mid-stride. It serves to enliven a diorama or a display case; by itself it is not a model of a vehicle or an aircraft. The 1:35 size corresponds to the figure at the beginning of the name of the item and places it among the most widespread figure scales there are.
A figure in motion is among the most rewarding motifs in diorama work. It gives a scene direction, and the viewer subconsciously associates it with a road that continues beyond the base. It works splendidly along a field track, by a ruin or beside a parked vehicle, to which only a figure gives a real size. Marching figures also line up well one behind another, and even two or three pieces make a convincing column.
Degrease the assembled parts and look the seams over; fill small gaps with filler and sand them down. A thin base follows, and after it the basic tones of the uniform and the field equipment. Deepen the folds of the fabric with darker glazing and on the contrary lighten the raised edges. Leave the leather straps, the buckles and the metal parts to the very close, so that their gloss does not disappear under a matte coat.
