This is not a kit but a 3D-printed resin accessory of the armored box in which night infrared equipment was stowed on German vehicles. It is intended for models of late-war German equipment in 1:35 scale and faithfully captures both the shape and the riveting of the cover.
At the close of the Second World War Germany deployed active infrared night devices experimentally on some tanks and escort vehicles. The armored box protected the sensitive apparatus and is among the typical recognition features of these rare night versions.
Wash the part free of residues of uncured print resin, cut off the print supports and level the mating surface. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The rivets and the edges will come out once the primer is on and the weathering is gently picked out.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
