About product

Eduard masking set 1:35 – German numbers, large size

Self-adhesive masking templates for spraying German tactical (turret) numbers in the large size, in 1:35 scale. Large numbers were used on tank turrets; with a mask you assemble them and spray them on sharply, with none of the silvering that plagues decals on an uneven surface.

Use

  • Spray the base color of the vehicle and let it dry.
  • Assemble the number you want from the individual masks and stick them down.
  • Spray over them in the color of the digits (following the scheme) in thin coats.
  • Take the masks off while the paint is fresh — the result is a sharp painted number.

Who the set is for

For modelers and diorama builders of German equipment in 1:35 who want large painted tactical numbers that stand up to weathering. The set is not tied to any particular model.

This is a masking accessory, not a model. Paints and models are not included in the package.

FAQ

No. They are masking templates — you spray the numbers on in paint, which is more durable than a decal and does not silver.

They were used mainly on tank turrets; the size is meant for the larger surfaces of a model.

For German military equipment in 1:35 scale; the set is not tied to any particular kit.
