Before you glue anything on, try the seating out dry: with hatches and seats a few tenths of a millimeter decide, and it tends to be simpler to adjust the seating surface of the figure slightly than the surroundings of the vehicle.
Cut surplus material and traces of manufacture off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts, which the packaging or the manufacturer's instructions give. Before painting, wash the figures in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry. Apply the paint in thin coats and go from a base coat to the areas, then to the shadows and finally to the faces and the hands.
