The uncrewed ground robotic platform Stohid in 1:35 scale as a resin kit for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Ukrainian brand Spalah prints this model from photopolymer resin. It is therefore a resin kit for experienced modelers, not injected plastic: the parts hold sharp edges and carry detail that could not be made in a conventional mold. The box consists of the platform itself and it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Stohid belongs among the uncrewed ground vehicles, for which the abbreviation UGV has become established. These are remotely controlled small vehicles entrusted with tasks where a human need not be sent. Vehicles of this category usually see to bringing materiel to isolated positions, carrying loads back and watching the ground. Their dimensions are such that they get through narrow tracks and denser growth, and they are controlled from a safe distance. In 1:35 scale this makes a rewarding subject which catches the eye at once in a display case among conventional tanks.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that no remains of the release agent stay on the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife; never break them off. Super glue, that is cyanoacrylate, serves for joining. Protect your breathing when sanding and rather wet the abrasive, so that the dust does not swirl up. Before painting a filler primer pays off, otherwise the shade holds badly on smooth resin.
Supplied as a kit of resin, unassembled and with no surface finish. Get the means for painting and gluing separately, unless it is stated otherwise with the goods.
