This photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale raises the detail of the exterior of a model of the American HEMTT heavy off-road truck. It adds fine metal parts such as grilles, covers, brackets, footsteps and other features of the body and the chassis that plastic cannot capture faithfully. It is not a standalone model but a refining accessory.
The HEMTT is an American heavy off-road truck with all-wheel drive, used by the army to carry cargo and fuel and as a carrier for various bodies. It is marked by high cross-country mobility and a wide range of logistic tasks.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and make the bends along the score lines with a bending tool. Use super glue for gluing to metal. Add the small exterior details step by step so that they follow on from one another. Once painted, bring out the edges with drybrushing and the service dirt with washes and pigments.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
