An add-on wheel set in 1:35 scale for a model of the light German tank destroyer known under the designation Hetzer. It is fitted to finished suspension.

The light tank destroyer that became familiar under the designation Hetzer was among the smallest German combat vehicles of the Second World War. It was built on a chassis derived from the 38(t) light tank and was produced in factories in the Czech lands. The low hull with sloped sides gave the machine a small outline, which makes the running gear with four large wheels on each side all the more conspicuous from the side. On a vehicle that low the wheels make up a substantial part of the silhouette and are visible in full on the model.
Fit the wheels only to finished suspension, once the position of the suspension arms can no longer change. They all have to stand in one plane, otherwise the track will not seat evenly on them and the model will rock on its base. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder so that the mating surfaces meet. The material of the parts and the recommended glue are given in the manufacturer's instructions. Wash and degrease the wheels before painting, because paint does not hold on a greasy surface.
Wheels are easiest to paint away from the model, pushed onto a stick or held on double-sided tape. Apply the base shade of the vehicle, then work the rubber tire bands separately and finally add dust and mud to match the setting you place the model in. Fit them to the model only once the paint has dried.
The set is for modelers who build this tank destroyer and want to replace the wheels with separate parts. Compare the spacing of the suspension arms and the diameter of the wheels with your particular kit before you buy. Paints, glue and other building materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
