A photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Hauler, intended for models of the German Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer tank destroyer. It is not a model but a set of fine brass parts that replace thick plastic items and add realistic detail to the exposed places on the hull. The dimensions and shapes are based on the Tamiya kit.
The Hetzer was a light, low and well armored tank destroyer built on the proven 38(t) chassis. Armed with a 7.5 cm gun, from 1944 it was among the most widespread machines of its kind, and its compact shape makes it a popular subject for modelers.
Cut the photo-etched parts from the fret, bend them along the scored lines and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with a primer. Washes and pigments show to advantage on this vehicle: mud on the running gear, dust on the upper surfaces and rust on the metal details.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a model in its own right. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
