A pre-colored 3D printed interior set applied by the decal technique. It is not a kit but a detail improvement of the interior for models of the Horch 4x4 type 1a in 1:35 scale. The parts are fully colored and need no painting.
The Horch type 1a was a German heavy off-road car (schwerer Einheits-Pkw) of the Second World War with drive to all wheels. It was used as a command and reconnaissance vehicle and as a carrier for light weapons. The open interior offered room for several crew members.
The 3D printing gives the parts relief: the instrument panel with its dials, the switches, the levers and the other controls. The dials are covered with a gloss varnish for a glass effect. The part is released like a decal in lukewarm water and, because it is thicker than an ordinary decal, it is also fixed with glue or varnish. Forget about decal softener, as it would attack the printed resin of the part. The assembling and painting of multi-layer photo-etched sandwiches is avoided.
The set contains interior 3D decals only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
