A set of water-slide decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. It offers markings for the Israeli 155 mm M109 self-propelled howitzer from the period of the 1970s. The decals are printed on a thin carrier film with faithful colors and a sharp register.
The M109 self-propelled howitzer formed the backbone of the artillery of the Israeli armored forces. The vehicles carried Hebrew lettering, tactical insignia and recognition symbols typical of the Israeli army. It is precisely these details that give a model an authentic Middle Eastern character and set it apart from the standard forms of the M109.
Coat the surface under a decal with a gloss varnish against silvering. Dip the decal in lukewarm water for a few seconds, slide it into place, line it up and blot the water away. For broken surfaces use a softener, and go over the finished model with a matte varnish.
This is a set of decals, not a model. A kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
