A plastic kit model of the Japanese Type 60 self-propelled anti-tank vehicle armed with 106 mm recoilless guns in 1:35 scale from the Japanese firm FineMolds. It is a new tooling with rich detail. The package holds clear parts for the vision ports, link-and-length tracks and crew figures.
The Type 60 was a light tracked anti-tank vehicle of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, armed with a pair of 106 mm recoilless guns. It served to destroy armored targets and stayed in the inventory for decades, from roughly the 1960s until 2008. It was marked out by a low silhouette and easy mobility across country.
We recommend assembling and painting the running gear and the link-and-length tracks before closing the hull. Work with thin cement for plastic and protect the clear vision ports from fogging by using a suitable glue. Olive green shades suit the modern Japanese finish; once painted, the model is brought to life by light highlighting of the details and dust effects. The crew figures round out a scene in a diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
