About product

Jungle Plants E — 1:35, Matho Models

Another set of jungle plants from the Matho Models series in 1:35 scale. It is not a model but a scenic accessory for dioramas: a photo-etched fret of ultra-thin brass (about 0.1 mm), which reproduces the realistic thinness of leaves. The set widens the range of vegetation shapes and is supplied unpainted.

Use

  • cut the leaves from the photo-etched fret and clean the edges up
  • bend the leaves and stems for a natural, three-dimensional look
  • glue them with cyanoacrylate to trunks, terrain or a base
  • apply a primer and paint with an airbrush as well as a brush in shades of green

Who it is for

Meant for builders of dioramas and display cases who want to fill a tropical setting with fine and realistic vegetation. The set can be combined with other parts of the series for a more varied growth.

The accessory is supplied unpainted; paints and glue are not included in the package. Protect your eyes and hands while sanding and cutting.
