The KPV machine gun of 14.5 mm caliber forms the basis of the ZPU-1, ZPU-2 and ZPU-4 anti-aircraft systems, where it is fitted in single, twin and quadruple builds. This accessory lets you render the barrel faithfully with all the detail of the cooling.
The metal barrel is perfectly straight, with a drilled muzzle and finely rendered cooling holes. It replaces the plastic part of the kit and so raises both the realism and the toughness of a thin part. Glue with a glue suitable for metal and apply a base coat before painting.
