A precisely 3D printed resin set in 1:35 scale containing five British Lee-Enfield No. 4 rifles. The finely rendered models faithfully capture the shape of the gun stock, the barrel and the gun sights and are intended for arming figures or as equipment placed around a scene.
The Lee-Enfield No. 4 was the standard bolt-action rifle of the British and Allied infantry in the Second World War. It grew out of the proven Lee-Enfield design with a turn-bolt action and a box magazine and was renowned for its rapid rate of fire and its reliability. It remained in service long after the war.
Carefully separate the parts from the print supports and wash them. Given the small scale, work with a sharp knife and a magnifier. Paint the gun stock in brown wood shades and the metal parts in a dark steel color; fine edge highlighting with a dry brush will draw out the details. The rifle is attached to a figure with cyanoacrylate glue.
