An injection-molded plastic kit of the BMPT tank support combat vehicle in the version used by the Kazakh army, in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model has an intricate hull, a well-worked weapon station, detailed running gear and individual track links. Photo-etched parts and decals for marking options are usually included.
The BMPT is a tank support combat vehicle built on the chassis of a main battle tank. It combines a pair of automatic cannon, anti-tank guided missiles and a machine gun and is intended to destroy infantry, lightly armored targets and firing positions in cooperation with tanks. The variant in question was taken into service by the Kazakh army.
First assemble the running gear and the lower hull, then the weapon station. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. A primer and an airbrush are recommended; washes and pigments will accentuate the running gear, the exhausts and the dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
