Off-road wheels Sd.Kfz.221 - 1:35 (LANMO Model)

This is a resin detail set, not a model of a vehicle. It replaces the standard wheels of the German light reconnaissance armored cars with realistic off-road wheels with a pronounced tread pattern. The set is conceived for the Sd.Kfz.221, 222, 223, 260 and 261 types.

What the set contains

A set of resin, or 3D-printed, wheels with a faithfully executed tire pattern and detailed rims. The parts are cast without seams, with the sharp edges of the tread that injection-molded plastic usually lacks.

Usage tips

Wash the mold release agent off the wheels and cut the sprue gates off the contact surface.
Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
For realism the lower part can be sanded down slightly to suggest the load on the tire.
Add dust pigments for the effect of driving off road.
