Plastic kit of the Canadian version of the famous Leopard 1 tank in the classic armor scale of 1:35 from Hobby Boss. The injection-molded plastic parts let you build the characteristic silhouette of the Canadian machine with all the main features of this variant. The model is glued with ordinary cement for plastic models.
The Leopard C1 was the Canadian variant of the German Leopard 1 tank, which the Canadian army took into service in the late 1970s. The machine carried the well-proven 105 mm gun and had the mobility typical of the whole Leopard family. The C1A1 designation belongs to the upgraded form of these tanks, which went through successive modifications in Canadian service and served until newer vehicles replaced them.
Start with the running gear and the hull, and leave the turret until last. Spray the model with primer before painting, and apply the camouflage preferably with an airbrush. Washes into the seams of the running gear and dust pigments on the fenders and the sides of the hull will help it come to life, as Canadian machines tend to look markedly dusty in photographs.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
