This item is an accessory set for a model of the American M1083 medium tactical truck, not a model of the vehicle on its own. The nickname War Pig took hold for the armored versions of trucks that American units modified to escort convoys in Iraq. On a vehicle like that the loaded material and kit play a substantial part in the overall impression. The set is in 1:35.
The M1083 belongs to the family of American medium tactical trucks, which from the 1990s gradually replaced the older generations of vehicles. It is a flatbed cargo carrier with all-wheel drive, and in operations in the Middle East it saw a whole range of field and factory modifications, from an armored cab through add-on plating on the bed to gunner positions. Vehicles of this type became the typical picture of escort convoys both among buildings and on long-haul routes.
Modern American vehicles tend to be a single color, so all the visual interest is carried by the load and the kit. It pays to keep the vehicle's desert shade restrained and to look for color contrast in the textiles, the plastic containers and the water cans. Dust is decisive for the Iraq era, so light pigments on the lower areas suit it, along with light streaks running down the vertical surfaces to suggest rain and the handling of the load.
