The set brings replacement wheels for models of vehicles with the M1014 and M1010 designations in 1:35 scale. The wheels are provided with the Michelin XZL tread pattern, that is, with a design with coarse transverse blocks and wide grooves, which is used on army vehicles for terrain, for mud and for sand.
On a model of a vehicle the wheel is a conspicuous part that the viewer sees from the side as well as from below. A replacement wheel tends to be better rendered in the grooves of the tread pattern and in the sidewalls of the tire and the whole vehicle comes across more convincingly thanks to it. The replacement is moreover simple and does not interfere with the build of the rest of the model.
First try the opening in the wheel dry on the stub of the axle and if need be widen it with a small drill, so that the wheel seats without pressure. Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the surface before painting. If the wheel has a flattening of the tire suggested, turn it toward the ground. Apply mud from the bottom upward and leave it thicker in the grooves of the tread pattern than on the sidewalls, where driving tears it away with the airflow.
This is an accessory to a model of the vehicle. The paints, the glue and the compounds for mud are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
