Workable T130E1 tracks for the M113 in 1:35 scale (AFV Club)

This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The set contains a set of individual linked track links of the T130E1 type, with which you replace the tracks out of the box on models of the American M113 armored personnel carrier and its derivatives. The links are assembled one by one and stay workable once put together, so the track seats faithfully on the wheels and sags naturally over the running gear.

What the set is for

It replaces rubber or soft one-piece tracks with realistic plastic links with crisp definition of the guide teeth and the outer profile. Suitable for dioramas and for static display alike, where the track is visible at first glance.

Building and painting tips

Clean the links of flash and join them with thin cement for plastic; leave the joints slightly workable so that the track can be wrapped around the drive sprocket and the idler. Coat the base in dark steel or gray, rub the contact faces with graphite and work mud and dust pigments into the whole track for convincing patina.

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
