An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M16 MGMC self-propelled antiaircraft vehicle in 1:35 scale from the maker AFV Club. The vehicle is armed with the four-barrel M45 mount with heavy machine guns, nicknamed Meat Chopper. The kit offers a faithful engine, hatches that open, photo-etched parts, rubber tires and decals for several variants. Verify the exact contents of the package on the packaging.
The M16 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage was an American antiaircraft vehicle of the Second World War built on a half-track chassis. It carried the M45 mount with four 12.7 mm heavy machine guns, which could be traversed through 360 degrees. Besides defense against low-flying aircraft it proved itself in fire against ground targets and infantry too, which is where its nickname comes from.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etched elements with superglue. Paint the engine, the interior and the running gear before the hull is closed. Assemble the four-barrel mount carefully, so that it can be traversed. After the base color, bring the detail out with a wash and add dust and mud effects with pigments for the faithful wear of a combat vehicle.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
