An injection-molded plastic kit of a main battle tank in 1:35 scale from Academy. The subject is the American M1A2 Abrams in the SEP v2 version completed with the TUSK II set, that is a set of added protection and equipment for fighting in built-up areas.
The M1A2 SEP v2 is an upgraded version of the Abrams tank with improved electronics and sensors. The TUSK II package, a kit for survival in a built-up environment, adds extra armor to the sides, protection for the commander and further features against infantry antitank weapons and booby-trap systems. It is equipment committed in modern conflicts.
Assemble the running gear and the side armor panels with their fitting after the hull has been painted in mind. An airbrush suits a modern desert scheme, with fine emphasis on the rivets and the panels and washes and dust at the end. The added TUSK features will fill out the wear of combat use.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
