A photo-etched set for the M270 MLRS self-propelled rocket launcher in 1:35 scale is an add-on set for a plastic kit you already own, not a model. It adds thin metal parts where a plastic molding inevitably exaggerates the thickness of the material.

A set of photo-etched brass parts from Voyager Model, cut for the Dragon 3522/3523 plastic kit. It is not a model and not a kit; it is an accessory with which selected plastic parts on a kit already built or under construction are replaced by more accurate metal ones.
The M270 MLRS is an American self-propelled rocket launcher on a tracked chassis derived from an infantry fighting vehicle. At the rear of the hull sits a traversing and elevating superstructure into which launch pods with rockets are loaded; they are loaded as a whole, which shortens the time needed to fire again. The vehicle combines flat sheet surfaces, grilles and a quantity of small clamps, which is exactly what photo-etched parts do better than a mold.
The biggest trap with this category of set is long straight parts, typically covers, strips and side panels. The moment such a part bends even slightly while being removed from the fret or cleaned up, it will always show on the model. Cut the parts off with a sharp scalpel against a hard surface rather than by twisting, and file the remains of the tab flush with the part lying flat. Plan the assembly ahead: whatever is glued under another part has to be finished first, and subassemblies are usually better completed and checked away from the model. Only then attach them to the hull.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit and does not make up a model on its own. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
