1:35 M2/M3 Bradley RoadWheel Set - Late Type offers road wheels of the late type for models of the Bradley combat vehicle in 1:35 scale. Intended for the Academy and Tamiya kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set deals with the road wheels for models of the infantry fighting vehicle M2 and of its reconnaissance counterpart M3. The name specifies that this is the late type, that is the execution that differs from the earlier one in the shape of the disc. The range holds the early type as a separate item as well, so the choice has to be subordinated to which version of the vehicle you are building and from what period. The target kits are Academy and Tamiya.
The Bradley entered the armament in the 1980s as a counterweight to Soviet vehicles of the same category. It carries an autocannon, an anti-tank system and in the infantry version a squad of troops as well. The reconnaissance variant has more ammunition and observation equipment in place of the troop compartment. The vehicle went through many modifications and it is precisely the details of the running gear that belong among the clues by which the version being built can be placed in time.
The late discs have a different pattern from the early ones, so do not mix them on one vehicle. After cutting them off the sprue gates, check that the center of the wheel seats on the pin without play. For painting, set the wheels aside from the hull, draw the rubber tire bands out with a darker gray and leave the steel disc in the base shade of the vehicle. At the end add a fine deposit of dust so that it grows stronger toward the lower edge.
The goods serve to modify a model under way and do not hold parts of the hull or of the turret.
