A set of well printed water-slide decals in 1:35 scale from the Star Decals brand. It brings the markings of the M4A3 Sherman tanks of the American marines in the battle for Iwo Jima, both for the gun and for the flamethrower machines. This is an accessory to plastic models.
In the fighting for Iwo Jima the Shermans played a key role in destroying Japanese fortifications; the flamethrower versions were especially valuable against bunkers and caves. The vehicles carried conspicuous names and the tactical numbers of the tank battalions of the marines. The set reproduces these designs, including named machines, so it makes it possible to build a particular historically documented tank.
Apply them onto a smooth gloss base, so that no silvering edge arises. Dip a decal in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it onto the model. With a softener the decals will adhere to engraved detail; unify the end result with a matte varnish.
This is a set of decals on its own. A model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
