Není. Tento M4A3E8 je zcela nová forma z roku 2015, ne přeražená stará matrice — má slide-molded věž a horní korbu s věrnou povrchovou strukturou. Buďme ale poctiví: recenzenti zmiňují, že pojezd HVSS je oproti realitě trochu zjednodušený (některá ramena jsou v jednom kuse). Pro naprostou většinu stavitelů je to výhoda, protože stavba je rychlá a bez trápení.

Zásadní. Asuka staví britský Sherman III (americký M4A2) — ranější stroj s odpružením VVSS, úzkými pásy a 75mm kanónem, v britské výbavě a značení. Tamiya staví pozdní americký M4A3E8 „Easy Eight“ s odpružením HVSS, výrazně širšími pásy a 76mm kanónem. Jsou to dva odlišně vypadající tanky — kupujte podle toho, kterou éru a kterou armádu chcete.

Přezdívku dostal od posádek díky odpružení HVSS, které dávalo tanku znatelně klidnější a pohodlnější chod než starší VVSS. „E8“ z označení M4A3E8 se tak lidově zkrátilo na „Easy Eight“ — „snadná osmička“.

Ne. Široké pásy T66 jsou v balení jako jednodílné pásové (belt) díly, které se nasadí vcelku. Kdo chce články, může si dokoupit samostatnou sadu.
