This kit in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer AFV Club presents the American M60A1 tank of the Patton family. It is an injection-molded plastic model to be assembled and painted. The package contains plastic parts, clear parts, a photo-etched fret, turned metal parts, rubber tracks and a decal sheet. The model has the interior of the driver's station and the commander's cupola indicated.
The M60 was an American main battle tank developed at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. The M60A1 version brought a new, more elongated turret and a number of improvements to the armor and the fire control. The tank carried a gun of 105 mm caliber and for decades it formed the backbone of the armored forces of the United States and of a number of allied armies.
First assemble the running gear and fit the rubber tracks, and only then close the hull up. Use liquid cement for plastic and apply a primer. Spraying the paints with an airbrush is recommended, and washes and pigments for dust and mud effects are suitable for the patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
