A resin accessory in 1:35 scale from the PANZER ART brand, which replaces the mantlet (the mounting) of the main gun on the German Jagdpanther tank destroyer in its mid production form. It is not a vehicle kit but a standalone detail part with a faithfully captured cast surface.
The Jagdpanther was a heavy tank destroyer built on the chassis of the Panther tank and armed with the long-barreled 8.8 cm PaK 43 gun. The mounting of the gun in the front of the turretless superstructure went through changes during production, so the early, mid and late forms differ in detail. This part matches the mid pattern.
First wash the mold release agent off the part, cut off the casting block and clean the mating surfaces up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and do the sanding with respiratory protection. The cast surface of the mantlet comes out well once a primer has been sprayed on and it has been picked out with a wash, filters and a dry brush.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
