This is a resin detail set in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It is not a tank model but an accessory for the American M3 Lee/Grant medium tank. The set holds a casting of the mantlet with the gun barrels, which replaces the plastic parts from the kit and makes the look of the main armament more accurate.
The M3 Lee/Grant was an American medium tank from the early part of the Second World War with an unusual armament layout: a 75 mm gun in the hull sponson and a smaller gun in the turret. The Lee and Grant versions differed in the design of the turret. An accurate mantlet with the barrels gives the model its characteristic silhouette.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue. Check the barrels for straightness before gluing; a metallic tone in the bore and a light wash will bring up the details.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
