Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the South African armored reconnaissance car Marmon-Herrington Mk.II in the Middle East version, in 1:35 scale from IBG Models. The model offers a richly worked-out interior and can be built with the doors and the hatches open. Photo-etched parts are usually included as well. The exact contents depend on the particular release.
The Marmon-Herrington was an armored car built in the Union of South Africa and widely used by British and Allied forces in the Second World War. It was based on the chassis of a Ford truck, with all-wheel drive from the American company Marmon-Herrington, an armored body of South African manufacture and British armament. The Mk.II version was used to a greater extent on the North African and Middle Eastern battlefields for reconnaissance and patrolling.
It pays to paint and assemble the interior first, because on a model with the doors open it can be seen well. Glue the parts with a liquid cement for plastic and attach the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Desert vehicles wore sand and brown shades, which you can bring to life after spraying with a wash, by picking out the rivets and with fine dust pigments on the chassis and the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
