Four whole wheels with a disk of pressed steel, without rubber fitted, for the Merkava Mk.3 and the Namer carrier in 1:35, aimed at Meng molds.
Responsibility details are not available.
The third series of the tank received a 120 mm smoothbore gun, a more powerful engine and above all a reworked suspension with longer travel, thanks to which the vehicle keeps its speed even over bumps. The same chassis served somewhat later as the basis for the Namer, a heavy carrier without a turret, whose armor is among the most massive that infantry has ever had at its disposal. Both vehicles therefore move on wheels of the same construction, and with both the builder faces the same question: how to get onto the model a disk that the production mold renders only in a simplified way.
The package carries four whole wheels with a disk of pressed steel in the form in which the rubber is missing from the tire. The dimension of the mounting is reckoned for Meng molds in 1:35.
It stands out fully on a vehicle that is side-on to the viewer and does not have its side covers lowered. It also serves well where it is to be apparent at first glance that the machine has weeks of patrolling behind it: alternating worn and well preserved wheels says more about a vehicle than the best layer of dust.
First try the seating dry and only then glue, because the set of four is mixed with the parts from the box and has to sit in one straight line. An exposed disk will take a darker base, careful polishing of the edges with graphite and a faint hint of rust in the places where the track passes. Avoid exaggerated gloss; metal on these machines quickly goes matte.
